VIRGINIA LENTINI Obituary
Age 80, passed away on Wed., August 21, 2013. Virginia has been residing at Little Sisters of the Poor for the past three years, where she has received extraordinary care and love. Virginia was preceded in death by her father, Frank (the Barber) (1986); her mother, Teresa Restivo-Lentini (1994); and her brother, Joseph, Pgh. Press driver/barber (1995). Virginia is survived by her nephew, Joseph Lentini of Penn Ave.; and her sister-in-law, Jan Lentini of Robinson Twp.; as well as many loving cousins and friends. Virginia lost her sight when she was 16 years old. She was schooled in braille and her mother taught her how to knit and crochet. Virginia was recognized with a photo article in the Pgh. Press Newspaper in 1971 for her accomplishments. She was a lifetime member of the Napoleone Colaianni Lodge No. 12 (ISDA). THOMAS P. KUNSAK FUNERAL HOME, INC. will conduct the viewing at Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pgh., PA Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. at Little Sisters. Interment at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Little Sisters would be much appreciated.
