Mark Patchin Obituary
POUGHKEEPSIE- Mark A. Patchin, 91, passed away on April 27, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.
He was born in Pine Plains, NY on August 1, 1919, the son of Mark A. and Pansy E. Cowles Patchin.
On June 29 1950, he married Marguriete P. McNamara in Stamford, CT. She survives at home.
Mark was employed as a general mechanic and worked for NYS Department of Transportation until he retired in 1981. He loved hunting and fishing and taking drives around the countryside.
In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by his daughter, Rosemary A. Patchin of Poughkeepsie, two sons and daughters-in-law, Martin & Jean Patchin and Robert & Barbara Heitman all of Poughkeepsie. He was predeceased in 1993 by his son, Earl T. Deerfield.
Mark is also survived by his grandchildren Sara and Jason Patchin, step grandchildren Kevin, Randy and Christopher Keehner and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 7-9PM at William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
