Mary Erts Obituary

Mary M. Erts

Verbank - Mary M. Erts, 84, long time resident of the Town of Union Vale passed away Wednesday, November 6 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born on January 17, 1929 to Phillip Marrone and Clementine Rozzi in Cranston,

Rhode Island. Mary grew up in Millbrook and graduated from the Millbrook School District.

Mary married Joseph Erts on September 1, 1960. They moved to Florida and then

back to Verbank in 1969. Mary was a retired dietitian for NYS Taconic DDSO in Cold Spring, NY. Joseph predeceased Mary in 2001.

Mary is survived by her two sons, Charles and Michael Erts of Verbank, a daughter-in-law, Jody Erts and two granddaughters, Sarah and Emily Erts.

Visitation will be held at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook, NY 12545, on Sunday, November 10 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St Joseph's Church in Millbrook at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 11. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations made by made to the Union Vale Fire Company, PO Box 6, Verbank, NY 12585.
