Mrs. Follert - I was so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. I have so many fond memories of all of us singing around your piano while your husband sat in the living room. I'm sure we must have driven him crazy, but he was always so patient and kind to us. He was a great man. My prayers are with you and your family at this time.

My sincere condolences to Phillippa and all the kids and their families. Dick was a great guy who I met in 1972 when I came to Montrose. I will always remember is very dry sense of humor, his sly comments under his breath, and his uncanny ability to always make you think. I will always remember his outdoor barbecues over wood chips in his grill as well as sipping Gin and Tonics in his kitchen. I always new Dick was a great family man and father, which was certainly emphasized by the success of all of his children. I will miss his quiet demeanor and friendship. Rest in peace my friend.
