F. John Robinson
of Hillcrest
F. John Robinson, 60, of Hillcrest, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 22, 2005. John is survived by his wife and best friend, Judy; mother, Rosa; two children, Cara Moss, Binghamton, and Zane, Richmond, Va.; one grandchild, Isaiah; five stepchildren, Erica, Sean, Leann, Rachel, and Joey. John was employed by Cornell University. He also worked at Singer-Link. He was a member of the NAACP. He also worked at the Binghamton Boys and Girls Club where he coached basketball. His love for his Lord and his mission on this earth were evident as he was actively involved as a youth director, in clown ministry, lifting up his voice in the church choir, playing keyboards in the Cornerstone of Zion praise band, Sunday School teaching, Disciple Bible study, and the Beginnings Program at the Chenango Bridge United Methodist Church. John was also involved in the Emmaus Community, and actively pursuing his call into the ministry. John will be deeply missed by all who were privileged to have been associated with him through his many endeavors.
John's celebration of Life service will be held this Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at the Chenango Bridge UMC, River Road, at 7:00 p.m. Calling hours will be from 5:00 until 6:45 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the United Methodist Youth Fellowship at the Chenango Bridge United Methodist Church, PO Box 501, Chenango Bridge, N.Y. 13745.
