Lane, Leonard B.

Leonard B. Lane, 72, of Chenango Forks, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2017. He was predeceased by his son, Tom Lane; parents, Kenneth and Eva Lane: granddaughter, Jessica Lane. Leonard is survived by his wife, Ella Gaylord- Lane; daughter, Rochelle Lane; sister, Bernetta O'Neal; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Charles and Pat Gaylord; several nieces; nephews; lifelong friend Dan Vergason and his extended church family at North Fenton United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be announced at a later date by Nichols Funeral Home 7323 119 Street, Whitney Point, New York 13862 and condolences may be sent to the family at www.nicholsfuneral.com

Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss of a Great Guy, Leonard.
I'll always remember with a smile the fun times Len, Dan and I had as we cruised on our Vespas or in his big new Bonneville convertible with the top down in the middle of winter. Yeah, we were a crew alright .
