C.A. McClellan Obituary

McCLELLAN, C.A. "Buster", "Mac" Lt. Col. (Ret. Army) Born June 6, 1915, entered into peace on October 31, 2010 to join his wife of 54 years, Norma. Buster's military service began in Alaska, then onto the desert to serve in the 11th Calvary, and finally to Europe (Austria/Germany) as a Finance Officer. He married Norma in 1948 and made Sonoma County (Windsor) their home where he started an upholstery business (MACSON) and maintained a 25 acre prune orchard. He was an active Army Reservist and member of the National Guard (579th Engineer Battalion). After retirement, he enjoyed gardening, farming and traveling. He is survived by his daughter Karen; granddaughter Monica Hardy and her three children: David, Joey and Khaila, grandson Artie Naslund; cousins Dino and Luisa Gasco and family (Torino, Italy); and dear friends Olga Palmieri, Florence Brown and Bob Rogers. Also survived by son Bruce. No services will be held.
