Working in San Quentin prison can be a hard job. Chris Miller always had a way with him to relieve the tension for his fellow employees. If he played a joke on you then you knew you had been accepted into his world. He never hesitated to assist others with a light harted ribbing of those around you as well. Somehow the real day's work just seemed to flow better when we had a less stressful working area around us. Work always came first and we were productive at it. He will be missed by so many of his fellow workers. I am but just one who is better off having known Chris, even in retirement.

I will always remember the twinkle in his eyes and his smile - he always seemed to have a mischievous look about him! May heaven be on alert!

My memories of being with Chris have always included my smiling and laughing at our antics. He was a good man, a great American, and will be missed. Mike Jensen
