As I re-read dear RoseAnn´s obituary from 12 years ago I am struck by our continued connection. There were many years between us in age but we were besties for a good long time and now I, also, have 17 grandchildren. She loved family.

I was looking and purging through old Christmas letters last week. I made sure to save the one Welden wrote (by hand and on lined paper) of what RoseAnn and his typical day looked like after she was in the care center. but he was making the best of it. Other old greetings in RoseAnn’s handwriting were such a pleasure to see again. So blessed to have known them so well.

I have such great memories of Rose Ann and the warmth that just exuded from her towards everyone and life. I loved it when she would come for a visit and the relationship between her & my mother (her sister) was such a great example of how family should be.

The photo in this obit is the very one of her & Welden that I have lovingly setting on my Featherweight ('for decorative purposes only' sewing machine)for many many years. RoseAnn taught me everything I know about cool decorating. Love you so much, RoseAnn.

We will miss Aunt Rose Ann. We will be thinking of you and the entire Frederick family. The trips that our Frederick cousins made to SD to see Grandma Emily were always intersting especially for us farm kids(Johnson cousins). Sincerely,
Cousin Charlie

I remember I could not wait to have her at St. Rose. She was my favorite teacher and I will always remember her. I learned so much that year. She touched a lot of lives in her life. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

I have such great memories of dear Rose Ann while I was a kid. She was one bubbly, fun lady who was a complete joy to be around. My best memory of her was her great laugh and that she always had a smile on her face. Surely dad (Arlo) was there to greet her when she entered into Heaven! My best to Weldon and the family. While many miles divide us, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
