Wallace Fawcett Obituary

passed away November 1, 2010 in Santa Rosa at the age of 88. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Thora-Ruth, two daughters Karen (Terry) Larson and the late Kathryn Williams, three grandchildren David Larson, Valerie (Matt) Wolfe, Melissa (Terry) Cherney. Also three great granddaughters Annika and Maggie Wolfe and Samantha Cherney. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 4930 Newanga Ave., Santa Rosa with reception to follow at the same location. Wally was born on Feb. 2, 1922 in Washington State, and then became a bay area resident in 1940, and moved to Santa Rosa in 1947. Wally has been a longtime member of Rincon Valley Optimist Club. Wally was a veteran of WWII. He served in the Army Signal Corp. seeing action in 11 major battles in the European Theater. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Faith Lutheran Church of Santa Rosa where he was a member. SANTA ROSA MORTUARY EGGEN & LANCE CHAPEL, 545-3747.
