Jeff,
Sunday the 28th was such a hard day for me, the six month mark. It felt like I had to live that Sunday in December all over again. I came to sit with you, it is so beautiful there. You would be proud of me, I pulled weeds.
I miss you so much and have many days that I just hold on to something of yours and many others that I cry. I feel your presence quite often, thank you for that, it is comforting. Thank you for continuing to be my big bear in heaven and protecting me always.

I still can't believe Jeff is gone. I am in shock and struggling with this loss. Though we hadn't been in contact for years, the thought that I won't ever be able to talk to him again leaves my heart broken. The service was so wonderful. Those who spoke brought back so many great memories of Jeff. My thoughts and love go out to Kim and all of Jeff's family and friends. I will forever be grateful for the time Jeff was in my and my son's life.

One of my favorite memories of Jeff is when we first met. I was looking for a place to live and ran across Jeff's ad. The first night I met Jeff, we talked about our hobbies and he mentioned country dancing. We ended up going through our lists of friends and found that we actually had similar friends in the dance community. That night, I told him I was heading to Kodiak Jacks and asked if he would like to come along. Without a second thought, Jeff excitedly hopped into my car and that jump started some great memories as roommates and also as friends.
Jeff was a great friend to my husband and I. I remember his vibrant laugh, his desire for a wife and family of his own, and his strong work ethic as I remember how much he loved to work. He supported us through my pregnancy, marriage, advising us on real estate, and never forgot us. His authenticity and light hearted spirit will be with us always.
We love and miss you so much Jeff.

Jeff had a way of enjoying and celebrating the smaller gifts in life that we tend to forget to stop and enjoy. For instance, his wonderful home grown garden of veggies he so looked forward to chosing from so he could smile that big, original smile he is so known for as he made one of his signature salads. He was a man that could find the silver lining in any situation. He taught me many lessons in how to enjoy life, be fearless, and grateful. And I am so, so grateful to have known Jeff.
I'll miss dancing with you Jeff. Keep dancing in heaven! I will miss you. But you will always be in the hearts of the many lives you have touched.

Jeff - You have been a lifelong friend and I am so saddened to have you gone. I really enjoyed seeing you at Debra's 40th birthday party and sharing funny life stories with you. I remember some great vacations in Tahoe and Lake Shasta with you and eating bologna sandwiches at Friedrichsen Farms. You have left us too early but you have accomplished much. To Jeff's Family: I was Jeff's Periodontist for the last 12 years, Jeff came in often throughout that time. I can honestly say that when I saw Jeff's name on my schedule my heart became lighter. I knew we'd laugh and talk, Jeff became a true friend. I know how deeply he adored his family, his parents and siblings and nieces and nephews. I can't tell you how broken I am to hear this news. I had only met Jeff a couple times, but he became a very important part of our family when Al married Andrea. The Proulx Family special occasions will not be the same without him there.
