Neva Perry

PERRY, NEVA C. age 87, of Reservoir Ave., died April 27, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John J. Perry Sr. Born in Rehoboth, she was the daughter of the late Frank R. and Mary (Perry) Medeiros. She worked as a Rural Mail Carrier in Rehoboth for 19 years. She delighted many with her specialty cakes. She is survived by her children; Joyce Joreid of CA, Gloria Malo and John Perry Jr. of Rehoboth, Carol Kelly of Weymouth, Donna Moore of FL, Susan Perry of CT, Thomas Perry of NY, Nancy Callaghan of Falmouth, 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was the sister of Olive Soares and John Medeiros both of Rehoboth. She was the great grandmother of the late Zachary, Nicholas and Kaleigh Malo. She was the sister of the late Gloria Veader, Bella Veader, Evelyn Perry, Frank Medeiros, Angie Cruz, Irene Mathew, Florence Montefusco, Louis Medeiros and Rose Perry. Her funeral will begin on Thursday at 8:30am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am in St. Nicholas of Myra Church, 499 Spring St., Dighton, MA. Burial will be in Rehoboth Village Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday 5-8pm.
