John Roperti Obituary

ROPERTI, JOHN A.
75, of North Providence, passed away on Friday April 21, 2017 at RI Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia (Simons) Roperti. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Raffaele and Angelina (Silvestro) Roperti. John was a salesman for Marel Sales & Paper Company for 25 years. He was a 4th degree member of the Boufford Council Knights of Columbus in North Providence.
Besides his wife he is survived by his step-children Donna Dionne, Jean Pinto, Donald Lackey and Mariann Lackey and ten grandchildren. He was the brother of Teresa Melise and uncle of John Melise.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday May 5th 2017 at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave. Providence. Burial will be private.

We have many good memories of John, going back to the early days of his association with Maral Sales & Paper Company. He was always a loyal friend and good co-worker. He will be missed greatly. Our thoughts are with Pat and the family at this sad time.
