Jean Leinbach Obituary


Jean M. Leinbach, 67,

formerly of Reading and most currently of North Port, Florida, was received into the loving arms of our Lord on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, after a very brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born Nov. 22, 1944, along with her twin brother, John M., she was a daughter of the late Raymond S. and Margaret O. (Ochsenford) Leinbach.

Jean was a 1962 graduate of Exeter High School. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Human Services from Springfield College, Springfield, MA.

She retired from CyQuest Business Solutions Inc., in Sarasota, Florida, in November 2011.

Jean was an avid Master Gardener and enjoyed quilting, antiquing and her beloved dog, Bailey.

Chris and Ben Evans and their family gave great comfort, love, and assistance to Jean throughout her time in Florida.

She is survived by her brother, James C. Leinbach, husband of Sandra Nichols-Leinbach, of St. Lawrence; a sister, Jacqueline A. Lein-bach of Ellensburg, WA; and a sister-in-law, Marjorie

(Richards) Leinbach of Lexington, Kentucky. She also has a nephew, Jeffrey R. Leinbach of Butler, PA; a niece, Amy (Leinbach) Marquis, wife of Tom Marquis of Boulder, Co.; and a grand-niece, Ara Marquis.

Jean was predeceased by her twin brother, John M. Leinbach, and her brother, Thomas R. Leinbach.
