Susan Harmon Obituary

Susan was born at Lakeside Hospital, Lakeport, CA, December 11, 1964 and passed away October 4, 2011 in Kelseyville, CA.
Her parents were O. F. "Pappy" Harmon and Patricia Bates Harmon.
Susan graduated from Clear Lake High in 1983. She attended Empire College in Santa Rosa, graduating on the Dean's List and received her B.A. from Dominican College in San Rafael, CA, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Susan worked as an executive assistant at Korbel Winery, Guerneville, CA, in the Marketing Department before turning her talents to business consulting, establishing her own company, Savvy Communications, which she operated for 25 years. The past five years Susan was also a facilitator for Mt. Konocti Facilitation, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Lake County aspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses to succeed.
Susan was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, O.F. Red Harmon, Helen Harmon, S. Garland Bates and Martha Avery; and uncle, Gary Bates.
She is survived by her special companion, Sandra West of Kelseyville; mother, Patricia Harmon of Lakeport; brothers, Daniel (Julie) Harmon of Lakeport and David Harmon of Witter Springs; sister, Karen Harmon of Nice; nieces, Adrianne (Nick) Bragg of Fair Oaks and Lauren Harmon of Nice; nephew, Darin Harmon of Nice; and beloved dog, Bita.
Susan loved Lake County and felt privileged to grow up in Lakeport. She had such a bright and outgoing personality. She never knew a stranger and won your heart with her charm and wit. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 11 at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary, 1625 N. High St., Lakeport.
The family prefers tax deductible donations to Mt. Konocti Facilitation, P.O. Box 295, Lakeport, CA, 95453.

I was shocked to hear of your loss.Susan was such a wonderful human being.She did unselfish service for me with my startup water company enhanceH20 while she was working with Mt.Konocti Facilitation.She was so kind.
