Joan Krystopa Obituary
Joan was a lifelong resident of Southington. She and her husband Bob owned and operated Krys' Plantsville Pizza for 40 years. As restaurateurs, both she and her husband were heavily involved in the revitalization of the Village of Plantsville. The restaurant received a number of awards, but was best known for offering the first home pizza delivery with custom-made dune buggies in the late 1960s. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 12. Burial will be private.

I'm so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. My memories of Joan come from long ago when I was just 16 and worked for her at the pizza house in Plantsville. We're talking some 42 years ago. May you all find peace during this difficult time.

Robyn, I am so sorry to here about your Mom. You most likely don't know who I am but whenever I visited Southington, your Mom and Dad always treated me to dinner, or anything I wanted. She was a super person.
