Nancy Ipock Obituary

BETHEL - Nancy Carson Ipock, 60, of 4616 Blue Eyes Road died Friday, April 1, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Pitt County on Sept. 19, 1950, to the late Bert L. and Pauline Duncan Carson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bert Carson Jr.
Mrs. Ipock was a retired schoolteacher with 31 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and sister, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed, not only by her family, but also by her former students.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. Heath Faircloth. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
Survivors include: her husband, Kemp Ipock; son, Andrew Carson Ipock, of the home; daughter, Kimberly Gray Ipock, and husband, Chris, of Bethel; and sister, Marsha Carson Bass, of Kinston.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Walker-Ayers Chapel and at other times from the home of her daughter, Kimberly Ipock, 145 Nelson St., Bethel.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Nancy was a sweet person whom I remember well from going to school with her in Bethel. I also remember her and her family from the Bethel Dimestore. Such good memories. May God bless you and your families during this time. May God grant you peace and comfort. Treasure the memories.
