Julia Raines Obituary

Julia May Cline Raines was born in Youngstown, Ohio. She grew up on a ranch in Washington. She said she had a wonderful childhood.
She taught art at Willagillespie Elementary. She fell in love with Clarence Alonzo Raines, a motorcycle cop whose mother was the janitor at the school. They married on Oct. 6, 1950. He passed in 2008.
Julia traveled to Hawaii, Fiji and Australia. She loved horses, roses, puppies, kitties, wild birds and lemon pie.
Julia is survived by 3 daughters: Bonnie Marineau, Tricia Raines, Terri Irwin; stepson Rolfe Raines; 6 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; and 3 great-grandsons.
A Sweetheart Cherry tree was planted in her memory.
