Laura was my doc..she diagnosed my diabetes..and she was so kind and easy with telling me.It was easy to talk with her.I feel blessed to have known her..a very beautiful person.

I just discovered today about the heart breaking loss of Laura. In the short time I had been a patient of Laura I truly appreciated the level of comfort and ease she provided. She was amazing person and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Laura will truly be missed by those whom she provided a warm and friendly medical service.

I just found out today about my nurse laura. i loved her and her sense of humor. it was the only time in my life i ever looked forward to going to the doctor. her family is in my thoughts and please know how much she was truly admired by her patients. i will never forget laura and i will forever be greatful for her advice and smiling face is nervous times.

I was fortunate to have Laura as an NP preceptor. She was truly a mentor and someone I deeply respect. Laura exhibited great passion towards her patients as well as her family. I feel extremely blessed to have crossed paths with her and will carry her memory with me as I now treat patients.

Laura was a wonderful person inside and out. I just found out today about her passing when I went to the clinc my prayers are with the family. Laura you are really going to be misssed. You are truly and angel in my eyes.

I just found out last night about Laura. As a patient I was always happy to see it was her coming through the door when one of us was ill. I'm praying for her husband and children.

Jim & Family, I was out of town and just found out about Laura's passing. Please know that my greatest sympathy is with you and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Laura was a wonderful student and a breath of fresh air, always with a smile ready. She was a wonderful, knowledgeable preceptor for our students once she was out in practice and they will cherish her mentorship. Cherish your times together and know she was doing what she enjoyed and shared in the care of so many lives.

I cannot tell you how much I am going to miss my doctor, Laura. I last saw her the beginning of this year as a patient, and I asked her if I could take her out for lunch that day. That was how much I liked her as a person, but unfortunately, she was very busy. Laura always listened and answered all my questions, and she never made me feel that I was asking too many of them. Laura took great care of my three girls with such kindneess and gentleness, and I will never forget how she helped me with my health issues! Laura was so beautiful in so many ways. We will miss her, and I feel feel so blessed to have known her.

Laura had such a gentle way about her. She always talked to my girls with such compassion and concern. She was honest and sincere and always greeted us with a "Hello there Bortz girls..." I trusted knowing she was there to lend a listening ear and a healing hand. She will be greatly missed. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We will really miss her.

Laura was such a compassionate caregiver. She genuinely cared for my two girls and even asked how the other was doing when they weren't with me. She enjoyed watching them grow and that relationship made it a joy to go to the office with a 4 or 2 year old. She will be deeply missed.

Laura and I started our nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit at BRMC. I remember her being a wonderful and caring nurse, as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside.

Laura was one of the first nurses I met and worked with in Critical Care at Montgomery Regional when I moved here many years ago. Her kindness and expertise and attention to good care did not escape notice. Over the years and different jobs our paths would cross and she always had a smile, inquired about my son,and usually we would laugh about some event from the old days.
A good woman, with a good heart. She will be missed by many. It is my hope that each of you will find some measure of comfort in knowing how much she meant to so many.

For days now I have waited for Laura to unlock the back door to our office and walk back in with her smiling face. However She has unlocked the door to something much greater. Laura has touched many lives including mine in the time I have worked with her. She was a wonderful person, friend, amazing mother and wife to her family. Laura's work on earth her was done and will be remembered and missed by all who were blessed by opportunity to have known her. My prayers are with her family may God grant them strength.
