Sue Sutton Obituary

Sue Ann Sutton died peacefully in her sleep at her home, 2905 Wellington Dr., Sunday morning, May 6, 2012.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 3 pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd by Rev. R. Scott White and Rev. Juliana Lindenburg. Immediately following the funeral service, a reception will be held in the Pearsall-Jenkins Parish Hall. Private interment at a later date.
Daughter of the late Theodore Berkley and Clara Belle Williams Lupton, Sue was born May 1, 1941 at her parent's home, 209 S. Library St., Greenville. She graduated from Junius H. Rose High School, class of 1959. She attended East Carolina University for 3 years majoring in business. She worked as Field Office Assistant for the Social Security Administration for 42 years.
Survivors: husband, R. Ward Sutton, of the home; daughter, Kimberly Sutton Brady, of Catonsville, MD; two granddaughters, Kelly Lupton Brady and Caroline Ward Brady, of Catonsville, MD; and a brother, Tommie Lupton, of Wilmington, NC.
Sue will lie in state in the Meadow Parlor at the Church of Good Shepherd, 231 N. Church St. until time of funeral.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9 pm at the Pearsall-Jenkins Parish Hall.
Memorials in memory of Sue may be directed to Sudan Temple, Transportation Fund, 403 E. Front St., New Bern, NC 28560.
