Paul Lancaster Obituary

WILSON - Paul David Lancaster, 70, of Wilson, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016.
Service will be held on Monday, January 25, 3:00 p.m. at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, followed by visitation. Interment will be for the family.
Paul was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed and thought of often. He enjoyed watching the Yankees and Tarheels play on television and listening to the music of George Jones. Paul served in the Army.
Paul was born May 26, 1945 in Edgecombe County. He was the son of the late William B. and Kassie M. Mosley Lancaster and was also preceded in death by a son, Ricky D. Lancaster; sister, Shirley A. Watkins and brothers, Larry D. Lancaster and Pete "Yogi" Lancaster.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Keen Lancaster of Wilson; sons, Stacy N. Lancaster of Kitty Hawk and Michael D. Lancaster, wife Kelly, of Sims; step-son, Jeffrey "Scott" Keen of Wilson; step-daughter, Tammy K. Griffin of Wilson; step-grandsons Nicholas R. "Nick" Griffin and Aaron S. Keen, both of Wilson; sister, Mary "Evelyn" Wise and husband, Michael, of Nashville; brothers, William "Alton" Lancaster and wife, Donna, and Glenn Lancaster and wife, Dorothy, Steve Lancaster and Stanley Lancaster all of Rocky Mount, and his favorite dog, Lady Lou.
