My late husband Ed and I met Carol and Jim many years ago in the Dance Club in Sacramento. We also spent fun weekends with them at Lake Tahoe in their cabin. We have kept in touch throughout the years - we saw them last in 2002 on our way through California heading for Florida where we lived. Carol was always so sincere and sweet to everyone. I have fond memories and enjoyed knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and with Jim.

Carol and Jim became our friends several years ago. We had mutual long-time friends and acquaintances in the Church of the Nazarene membership. We were privileged to share dinner several times in Visalia as they passed through or returned when they were traveling in their motorhome. Six years ago, I was in Santa Barbara, awaiting surgery for the following day and Carol telephoned to offer support. We have been prayer friends, e-mail buddies, shared prayer requests, celebrations of important occasions, and grieved our losses. Four years ago, they made a special effort to attend our fifty-fourth wedding anniversary and we so appreciated their being there to celebrate with us. So very sad to learn of her passing but she has merely stepped from this life into the eternal sunshine of the love of our Savior. Blessings to the family and her many good memories will continue to cheer our hearts.

So sorry about Carol. We haven't seen each other in many years. We both lived in Wasco, and our family left when I was 10 yrs old. But through FaceBook, we have re-connected and heard about each other's families, and praised the Lord together over things and prayed for each other. Praise God that Carol has claimed that promise of eternal life with Jesus! Lois Jennings

Carol was a beautiful and classy woman and was an inspiration to me as I had to walk a similar path. She proved over and over again the faithfulness of God. I will miss our talks and your friendship. May God bring comfort to the family and friends.
