Thomas,
From the times I remember your dad from when I was very little at Granny and Danny's he was always full of life and laughter. I think I was a little jealous and intimidated by his larger than life personality. Also afraid to get close because of the parental figure. There many excuses I could make for not keeping in better contact as we got older but none are good. I did Love my big brother Cliff and was happy he had you in his life. He will always carry you through he was one proud old man. My thoughts and prayers are being sent to you and your family.

Thomas.
Good men do cry. And laugh.
Remember to do both during this time.
I was caught in grief at my beloved brothers passing, until I heard your voice and was assured that Cliff had lived a rich and full life. Here his voice now in your own heart, and be at peace.
You, and extended Family, and friends, were your dad's number one priority. From the first time I saw him, I felt special. He made everyone feel that way. His heart was the open to love, and now he is at peace, at last receiving the love he was so deserving of.

This is cousin John O'Farrell. Clifton and I were very close and grew up together. I have so many memories of all the fun we shared. We kept in touch almost every day on the Internet and I looked forward to his jokes and replies to my email. I will miss our late night chats via email. If I didn't get one every couple of days, I worried, knowing his many health problems. Although I cannot come to the service, Clifton is always in my thoughts and heart and my best friend and older brother. Thomas, you are in my thoughts also and please contact me if I can do anything to help you during this time. May you feel the comfort of God's touch.
Love to you and your dad, my cousin.

Tommy,

You won’t remember me (I think you were only about 10 when your Dad began working with me) but my name is Gary Osborne and I hired your Dad at Sunset, trained him and had the pleasure of working with him for many years. If nothing else, Cliff was a character who brought many smiles and laughs to those who worked with him. He was sincere in his efforts in seeking to help families all around the Rockford area with preplanning their cemetery and funeral arrangements. I have so many sweet memories of him. One of the fondest was when he attended his first Gibraltar Awards Weekend in Indianapolis and I had the pleasure of introducing him to the crowd as one of our top sales people. It was rewarding that he always stayed in touch with me with regular emails right up to the very end of his life. I send you my deepest condolences and will pray for you and your family as you go through this transition period.

God Bless,

Gary Osborne

I miss you so much and i know you will watch over me, it just really feels like you haven't left me. We'll be together again someday until then i hope you're up there riding free. Your Son

Tom, No words can express how sorry I am for your loss. Your Dad was a kind man that helped many in need. I can still remember sitting on the couch and him heckling all of us kids. Lots of laughter and good times. He will be missed.
