Dear Mrs. Wafford and Sons

I am so sad to here that Dave (Hoss) has passed and I want express
with all my HEART my most sincere condolences to you and your
Children and May GOD always bless you.

Mrs. Wafford I don’t know you or your sons personally but I knew
Dave the first Thirteen (13) years of his short life; as young children we were
able to get to know each other very well as my late brother and I spent lots of
time at the Wafford’s playing cards and doing many knucklehead things like
getting dog poop boxing it, wrapping it to look like a present putting the gift on
Unruh Ave then waiting for someone to pick it up, as expected someone always did;
but the funniest part was watching the present being thrown out of the car window.

Also I would greatly appreciate if you could also send my condolences to
Jim and Phil

Mrs. Wafford, David and Brandon, I had the pleasure of meeting Dave several years ago when he organized the fund raiser for Rockford Rescue Mission with WIFR and Logli. He was always thinking of ways to make it bigger and better so more people could be helped. He was indeed a very generous and compassionate man whose efforts helped hundreds of people. Rhonda, My wife Judy and I offer our condolences for your loss. Not only was Dave a great employee and manager but we both considered Dave a good friend as well. We will always remember the "great debates" regarding who was the best quarterback, Dan Marino or Brett Favre. Judy and Dave showed their great loyalty as fans and had some "fun" conversations. Dave's enthusiasm and tremendous confidence in his work will surely be missed by his friends and co-workers. The Rockford area will certainly miss all he has done in his local charity work.
