Cannon,

I was very taken back when I found out you had passed.Even while I'm all the way in Australia, I felt the earth move.I could not believe it. I never got to hang out with you again as an adult, and I realized how much I missed having one of my best childhood friends around.I've known you since the 1st grade and even then, right away we clicked.I remember how we used to make fun of people, and your distinctive laugh. Now that I think about it, for your age at the time, you cracked some wild jokes! You made a huge impact on people's lives, you should just see the amount people online right now reaching out to each other, people who we grew up with, and people who I don't know directly, but are very good friends of yours, and also reached out to me.

I know your parents are very proud of you, I'm proud of you Cannon. I've never met someone more driven and focused in my life. I wish more than anything I could be there in person, but as I am overseas right now, My mother will be standing in my place. You did not go quietly without a fight, and that's the Cannon I will miss.

To one of the realest people I have ever met, Thank you for some of the best memories. Thank you.
