Margaret Schuler

Margaret Ann Schuler, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Edgewood Assisted Living. Age 93 years. Daughter of the late Bruno and Katherine (Tarchner) Boensch, Margaret was born December 1, 1919 in Saginaw, MI. She was married to Louis W. Schuler on September 15, 1945 in Saginaw. He survives her. Margaret was employed by the Buena Vista School District as a cook for 21 years retiring in 1980. She was a member of SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church. She loved cooking, knitting, making afghans for her family and especially spending time with her family. Surviving besides her husband, Louis; are one daughter, Sandra and Dale Miller, Germfask, MI; two grandchildren, Mark and Lori Miller, Saginaw; Kyle Miller, Ypsilanti; two great-grandchildren, Rachel and Austin Miller; one twin sister, Marie Techentien, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers, Gertrude Ritter Snyder, Martha Mueller, Tillie Fuhrhop, Caroline Prueter, Catherine Lentner, Dorothy Kipfmiller, Richard Boensch, Bruno Boensch and Harold Boensch. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 AM Monday, March 18, 2013 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. John Mancini, OSFS will officiate with private burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00-7:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
