Jo Kane Obituary

Kane, Jo Ann (Goodrow) 5/3/2015 Chatsworth, CA Jo Ann was born on March 8, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan. Her parents were George Julius Gaudreau (Goodrow) and Vera Kersten. She married Chester Kane June 14, 1954 and while their children were young, the family moved to Los Angeles, CA. Her son J David predeceased her as did her parents and three siblings. Surviving siblings are James K Goodrow, Hale, MI, Patricia (Philip) Johnson, Grand Haven MI and Paul J (Sally) Goodrow, St Clair Shores, MI. Surviving children are Debbi Jo (Randy) Mullins, Canoga Park CA and Darci Jayne Kane, Rohnert Park, CA. She also leaves three grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Anna Grace Mullins (Kyle) Hobkirk, Michael Mack Mullins, and Robert Andrew James Kane. She also leaves many nieces and nephews in Michigan and California. She had close ties to relatives in California and appreciated their helpfulness to her and her family over the years. Jo Ann graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1948. She was excellent in her career field of secretarial and administrative work in Saginaw and also Culver City, CA. The last years of her life she resided at Angel Touch Elderly Care and we thank them for their kindness and care. We also want to thank Skirball Hospice for their compassion and timely attention to her needs. Cremation has taken place under the care of Cedar Hill Mortuary. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
