Charles S. Jackson, Sr.

SPENCER - Charles "Chop Chop" Stanley Jackson, Sr., 41, who passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury from injuries he had sustained, was born to Mrs. Nora Jackson Dowd of Spencer and the late Curtis Black in Rowan County on March 21, 1969.

He was a handyman and educated in Rowan-Salisbury schools.

He is survived by his mother of the home; son Charles Stanley Jackson, Jr, of Salisbury; daughter Lenora Jackson of Salisbury; brother Walt (Cindy) Jackson of High Point; sisters Margaret Cherry of Spencer, Curtistine Jackson of Lexington, Cathy Oliver of Spencer; and a host of other relatives.

Service and Visitation: Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel. The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Jackson family has entrusted services to Rowan Funeral Services.
