Marshall Howser Obituary

Marshall Lee Howser

MOCKSVILLE - Marshall Lee Howser, 47, born Feb. 21, 1962, in French Camp, Calif., the son of Yvonne and Coy Howser Jr., died Oct. 5, 2009, from heart failure.

He worked for Goodman Lumber and Salisbury Lumber in Salisbury, Morgan Manufacturing in Lexington, Valco Corp. and currently was working as a machine operator at Quarry Stone in Wisconsin. He had specialized in making beautiful custom doors and windows.

He is survived by his only son, Matthew Howser of Mocksville; two stepchildren, Jamie Albright and John Ramirez; his mother, Yvonne Howser of California; three sisters, Barbara Tapscott of Mississippi, Julie Lakey and Ruth Howser, both from California; and six brothers, Dan Howser of Salisbury, Chuck Howser, David Howser, John Howser, George Howser and Wayne Howser of California.

Service: There will be a memorial service for family and friends at Concord United Methodist Church in Mocks-ville at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.
