We are so very sorry that your family has to experience this intense grief. We never had the pleasure to meet Patty but from all the words left here her light shone very brightly while she was on earth. Know that her light shines even brighter now and that she is with all of you in spirit.

Steve, Jackie and Andy, I just wanted to express my sadness in learning of Patty's death. Steve, we've never met but my memories of Patty go way back to our childhood in the Enochville community. Patty, Jackie, and I were big buddies at White Hill Baptist church. She was always a loving girl and was kind to everyone she met. She was a real blessing in my life and to so many others at White Hill. She will be greatly missed.

To our dear Steve, the Magnusons are with you in prayer, love, and support. You -as did Patty- shine with The Mighty's Lord's love and grace. Although we had a very short time in meeting Patty, she was a beautiful woman full of elegance both in and out. She provided courage and inspiration to other women. We would have loved to have known her so much more. Be strong in HIM as HE makes us strong in our weekness. You have family next to you and we are honored, proud, and so deeply blessed to have you as our brother and neighbor. You can count on us whenever you need us. You have shown the Lord's love through it all and what an inspiration you are as well! With much love, Ron and Andrea Magnuson

I just wanted to add a little something from myself to the poem that I left!

It's been a while since I've been able to truly spend time w/ Patty! Regardless I've always loved her! The played the organ at Lane Street and since we started going there when I was two years old I've known her for a long time! I have nothing but great memories of time spent w/ her both inside and outside of church! I will truly miss her w/ all my heart! Uncle Steve if you need anything please feel free to call on myself and my family!

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Steve, you are in our prayers. I pray our Lord will give you a peace that passes all understanding. I think back at the times we had with Patty. She was such a kind person.I remember her practicing with Aprille and I when we were just getting started into singing at church. We were so scared and timid but Patty played the piano for us and played at a few weddings we were asked to sing at. She was a hard worker for the LORD. I can still see her now sitting at the organ every Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night. I know she is in the arms of Jesus right now. If you should need anything let us know. We are praying for you and your family. A brother and sister in Christ....Scott & Aprille Martin
