Dad, it's been almost a month & a half now. There's not a day that has gone by that I don't think about my best friend & father. I will always remember the good times we shared together on our MANY fly fishing trips. Each place that we went will always be where I can spend time with you going forward. I'll hear your voice as you guide me towards the fish & help me choose the right fly for the job... one of your flies that you tied for me, of course. I sure miss you Dad, each & every day. Iwuwe Pal!

My dear, sweet and soft hearted husband. We had so much life together in such a short time. From the first moment in May when I looked into your eyes I knew I had found the first and last love of my life. Our love was so deep and so strong that my heartache only mimics the depth. I miss you babe...so very much but I have faith our sharing of God on the river and in the mountains will carry me right back to your arms one day. Until then, I will hold our children close and take it one breath at a time. I love you with everything we are...

Ann, Grant & the rest of the Castleton family ~

Doug & I had a few interesting conversations...we were trying to solve the problems of the world. Ha ha we weren't very successful. Doug was 1 of the first to make me feel welcomed when I joined the Thurgood family & for that I will always be grateful.
I pray that God will help you find peace in your hearts as you work through the healing process. Remember Doug is never far way. He will be with you on that great day on the golf course or on the lake fishing. Find peace in those precious moments. My thoughts & prayers will be with you over the next several days.

Doug & Sue and I have been friends for years and they were good for each other. They spent many years enjoying all their friends in and out of the business world. Sue and Doug and I had the chance to play some golf at tournaments and they were a lot of fun to be around. I know that Sue will treasure their time together both now and what she can hold in her heart. Doug was a very nice guy and we all will miss him.
