Paul Arthur Robinson 1932 ~ 2006 ST. GEORGE, UTAH- Paul Arthur Robinson, age 74, passed away on September 2, 2006, in St. George, Utah. He was born March 5, 1932, in Eureka, Utah, to Wellington Arthur Robinson and Colette Bruning. He had two sisters, Nancy Terragno and Pat Robinson (deceased) and a step brother Dr. John Robinson. At the age of nine his family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Paul was a Veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Utah. He married Janet Lish on February 1, 1961. Paul and Janet met at Vitro Uranium Company where he worked for seven years before being transferred to Vitro Corporation working in Human Relations Management for 40 years in Maryland, California and Washington. Retirement brought Paul and Janet to St. George in 1995. Paul then began work as a teacher at the Smith Computer Laboratory where his students all commented on his patience and teaching abilities. He continued to be a friend and a help to any who needed help in the computer field. Paul was a help to his community wherever he lived. In Washington, he served on the Chamber Board for many years, heading their group as President one year. He also helped with the United Way Organization and served as their president for one year. In St. George he was a Chamber Sunshiner serving as their President for one year and also on the Chamber Board of Directors. Paul loved the outdoors and especially loved to fish. He was "addicted" to computers and loved to correspond with his many friends, sending them jokes and stories and bringing laughter into many of their lives. Many will remember him as "the boser." Paul was such a good Christian in everything he did and always thought of others before himself. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Janet, and his four children: Sandi Robinson of Camarillo, California; Stacey Robinson of Los Angeles, California; Julie Miller (Scott) of Redmond, Washington; and Stephen Paul Robinson (Jen) of Poulsbo, Washington. There are four grandchildren: Torsten and Simon Robinson and Cole and Griffin Miller. Paul was a dedicated husband and father in every way, always thinking of his family first. He loved being with them and doing things for them. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 6, 11:00 a.m., at the Quail Valley Ward, 1762 South River Road, St. George. Viewing will be held Tuesday, September 5, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, and on Wednesday, September 6, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Quail Valley Ward.
