I will always remember Alan. He was a hard worker and a very funny person. He always had amusing stories, sometimes ones that were a bit off-color. He was one of a kind. I respect that he trained his workers well so that they were able to continue doing the good work that he did for years.

Dear Tom and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of Alan. He never failed to bring a smile to my face. He had the greatest sense of humor, whatever the local idiots were doing politically or otherwise he always got both of us laughing. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I had the pleasure of treating Alan for his swelling in my clinic. He was frank, funny, kind and certainly very courageous given all that he faced with his cancer. I feel lucky to have had him pass through my life shortly. My sincere condolences for this great loss.

We are so sad that Alan has left us so early. I have enjoyed my contact with Alan for nearly 20 years, as he has cleaned our home. I considered him a friend. He loved to talk politics and he had a wicked sense of humor. My whole family will miss him. The Lyons-Stillman family send our condolences to Tom and all others who loved Alan. He was one of a kind.
