Staker family, I am sad to hear of Howards passing but he lived a great life. I worked with Howard in the real estate business when he was with the Gallery of Homes and Mansell/Staker Real Estate. He was always a mentor and great example in all he did. When things weren't working out with him in the construction side of the company, he voluntarily decided to leave so as not to harm the real estate company with that overhead. He started to draw house plans after that and became very successful. Since we worked with a lot of builders we continued to work with Howard on that basis. He was alwaya a joy to work with. I am sorry for your loss but I am sure he is happier now than ever.

My sincere condolences to Howard's family. I have known Howard my entire life. Howard was always positive and helpful. He had a very strong testimony of the Gospel and loved the Savior. His service in the LDS church was examplary. Howard was a hard worker, honest, and a man of integrity. The world needs more like him. He will be missed.

Though I am far away from you, my heart is with you. Nevertheless I am with you in spirit
I will never forget who my true hero’s in my life are you and my Dad! I will cherish the times we spent building your old house and going prospecting together. There is never a day that will go by that I will not think of you and the times you were there for me. And I will also cherish that you have shown me that our god is an awesome god and that through him anything is possible.
Love you Grandpa

Uncle Howard was always a welcoming host. His smile and outstretched hand made us feel at home in his presence. His commitment to the gospel was exemplary. I'm proud that my little boy shared a birthday with him (Feb. 1st). He was a witness at my wedding and having him around always made me feel like my dad was close. I think the two brothers have experienced a happy reunion on the other side.

Well Uncle I'm sad you've gone on and left us behind. But happy you are in a beautiful place with so many loved ones, where you can be about our fathers work. Hope you, and my dad don't find too much mischief to get into. Now you and Aunt Lydia together can continue your help with temple work.
I will miss your wisdom about the Gospel and the latest remedies to help us feel better. I LOVE YOU Uncle
