Nameer Qader Obituary

July 10, 1968 ~ Dec. 28, 2013
I am deeply saddened to inform our community that my dear husband Nameer T. Qader, M.D. passed away unexpectedly late Dec. 28th, 2013. He left behind a legacy of kindness, understanding, and love. Many people told me what a wonderful physician he was. Nameer took great care of his patients and gave them a lot of time and attention. He was the soul mate and love of my life and is already desperately missed. Our beautiful children Malik, Amina and Mazin were blessed with a wonderful father for a very short time. He will never be forgotten by all those who knew him and will leave an absence in the hearts of his wife, children, mother, brother, sister, in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, relatives, colleagues, and patients. He cared so well for all of us.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 4, 2014 at 1:00pm at the LDS Church. 5191 Old Post Road, Ogden Utah.
A Memorial Fund has been set up in his name "Nameer Tarik Qader Donation" at any Zions Bank.

It's hard to believe he's been gone for 7years. I still think of him and how incredibly kind and caring he always was. I miss you Dr. Qader.
Praying his family is doing well.

December 24, 2008, Dr. Qader entered our suite at Ogden Regional Hospital to give the final evaluation of our first baby boy, Indy. He gently reassured a very nervous new father that his first born was ready to spend his first Christmas at home.
12 years onward and I’m writing this to convey just how calming his gentle, confident demeanor gave me the confidence to take such a fragile newborn home and take care of him myself.
So impactful were his words, his smile, his knowledge, that we followed him to his private practice for care of our families care.
He will ALWAYS have a very sacred place in our hearts. His legacy will eventually span the globe.

If prayer can truly be received then let mine be heard not by God, but by the man who I briefly new, yet touched my families life through his care for us. Let him know that his smile seemed infinite and his compassion for the welfare of his fellow man inspiring. Let him hear our thanks.

It breaks my heart to find out about Dr. Qader's passing. You were wonderful to work with at Applegate and everyone knew you cared for them as individuals. We were so lucky to have you be our pediatrician when our sons were born. You are an excellent doctor and person. My family has been blessed for knowing you. Our prayers and deepest sympathy will be with your family. Thank You for sharing Dr Qader, who blessed so many people's lives.

You saved my life twice, you made it so I could go home to be with my family. When we had to move away, you said I could always come back for your help. You were not only my doctor, but my friend. Thank you so much. Love and light to your family. You are missed my friend.

Dear family,

Please accept my sincere condolences. I was impressed and relieved when I chose Dr. Qader as my mother's physician after her first stroke. I knew she was in good hands. I was nervous about finding anyone as good after her second stroke, when I brought her to Houston, TX to live with me. Dr. Qadar was my standard of measure. I kept him in mind when choosing a new physician here.

It is with heavy heart I write this as I just found out today about Dr. Qader's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, kids, and family. He was an amazing doctor and our whole family loved him. Dr. Qader has been our family doctor for about 10 years. When our kids grew up they continued with Dr. Qader so he not only treated us, but also our children and grandchildren. When I took over care of my mother-in-law he became her doctor as well until her passing last March. He truly was a one-of-a kind doctor, caring, compassionate, amazing, just incredible. He always had a smile and was genuinely concerned about what was going on and what he could do to help you feel better. In choosing insurance last month we made sure he was an approved provider before we selected our plans. We will truly miss him and his smiles and upbeat greetings, he never made you feel like you were just another patient. He truly made a difference in so many lives, thank you for sharing him, he was not just another doctor to us, he was family.

Dear Lana,
Dr. Qader was not only my medical director for three years but he was also my doctor. He told me once, "No matter where you go I will always be your doctor." I have been grieving for him since I learned about this tragedy. He was the best, always making me smile and laugh. He loved it when we sang at work and included him in the singing and I always told him what a beautiful, rich baritone voice he had. I miss him awful! All my warmest best hugs to you and your sweet children in this time of our great sorrow.

Asalaam u Alaikum Wa Rahmathullah, Inna lillah hi wa inna ilaihir rajioon" Verily we belong to Allah and to him is our ultimate return.
Words don't adequately even begin to share this enormous loss and grief, and the only solace we can offer is our sincere prayers for those he has left behind, we Pray that Allah will continue to guide, guard, protect and envelope you in his Mercy and we ask Allah to put in order for us our faith, which is our protection, and to put in order our material world in which lies our livelihood, and put in order our life to come,to which is our return, and make our lives a means of increase for all of us in all that is good and a return to you O Allah , that is a respite for all of us from all evil. O Allah we seek of you protection from, helplessness, senility, debt, and sinfulness, the punishment and the ordeal of AL Naar, the tribulations of the earthly repose, and from the evils of affluence and poverty, and from the test of life and death, and from heedlessness and hardness of hearts, from economic dependence and humiliation, and from indigence, unbelief, transgression, dissension, and from all painful diseases, from the burden of debt, worries, grief, stinginess and the coercion of people. and from reaching a debilitating old age, and from the tribulations of this world. O Allah protect us from a heart that is not humble, from knowledge that does not benefit, and from a soul that is never satiated, and from a dua that is not accepted. WE praise you O Allah, the best of those in whom hopes can be placed and the Most Generous of those who can be beseeched. May the peace and blessings of Allah be on our prophet and his family for now and forever. Ameen.

Your husband and father treated my mother for the last two years of her life. She was execptionally stubborn about her health care. Nameer was able to, with a wonderful mixture of kindness and firmness, motivate her to take better care of herself. My family will always have a warm spot in our hearts for his wonderful bedside manner. The world was a better place for his being here, a a tiny bit more empty for his leaving.

I believe that God has given Nameer a warm welcome back home, and now heaven is a better place with him there.
