Sean Faurschou Obituary

Sean Royal Faurschou
1977 ~ 2014
Sean was unexpectedly called home to his Heavenly Father. He passed away peacefully at the University of Utah Hospital on March 24, 2014.
Sean loved camping, playing his favorite songs and playing video games. He adored his family and loved all family functions. He adored his nieces and nephew, and showered them with lots of love! Sean went to Clearfield High School. After graduating he was a Supervisor at Southwest Airlines, later he went to work for the Utah State Tax Commission.
Sean is survived by his mother, Sherry Fahrni and step-father, Lloyd Fahrni; sister, Tamara Kirk, and sisters' fiancé, John Strickler; step-brothers, Brett and Jared Fahrni; half-brothers, Branigan and Justin Faurschou; and grandmother, Joan Baker. He is preceded in death by his father, Royal Calvin Faurschou; step-mother, Colleen Faurschou; grandfather, Dean Baker; uncle, John Baker; grandfather, Calvin Faurschou and grandmother, Lois Faurschou. We want to give special thanks to VCCU Unit at the University of Utah Hospital who provided excellent care for Sean and compassion for his family.

I've known Sean for a little over 8 years. I met him at the Utah Tax Commission. He was a great friend of mine and we shared many laughs together. My thoughts go out to his family and friends...this is a huge loss. :(

I am really at a loss for words, my heart is So heavy, I love that boy! To my beautiful loving Sister-in-law, and as John called you, Sissy, and the rest of the family, it hurts so much that I couldn't get there in your time of need. I keep thinking back on the memories that I do have of Sean and especially the last time we visited Utah. It comforts me to know that he is with his grandfather and his Uncle John, and the other loved ones that went before him. They're all having a grand celebration looking down on us. There must be a reason he was called "Home". I LOVE Y'ALL with all my heart and soul. Know that I am there in Spirit!

Sean was my best friend as a teenager. Even today, I am continually surprised by just how many things about myself were influenced in some way by him. I am very sad to see him go. I wish the best for his family, always.

My prayers and love go out to you Sherry and family. It is so sad to have a loved one called home at such a young age. God must have needed him for something important. Glad I got to know him and see him grow up in his early years.
