Claude Scovill Obituary

Claude E Scovill passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on September 6, 2014. He was born on February 8, 1922 in Orangeville, Utah to Alma Asahel and Artimissia Burnett Scovill. He was a life-long resident of Orangeville.
Claude is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jeanne Lemon Scovill, his children Claudia Strong (Rick) of Richland Hills, TX, Dennis Scovill (Nancy) of Rancho Cordova, CA, Garth Scovill (Ilise) of Parker, CO, Irene Craker of Ogden UT, Michele Sweeten (Brad) of West Bountiful, UT, 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Emma Jean Chitester of Carbonville, UT. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Amasa, Alma, Orien, Elmer, Van and sisters, Leola, Helen and Sarah.
A viewing will be held at the Heritage Mortuary in Huntington at 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday September 9. Funeral services will be held in the Orangeville First Ward Chapel on Wednesday, September 10 at 1:00 PM, followed by internment in the Orangeville City Cemetery.
