1929 ~ 2017
Robert Leroy Scott, 87, passed away on April 21, 2017 in West Jordan, Utah. Robert was born on June 11, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mr. Robert Lee Scott and Mrs. Hazel May Scott. He married Iris Louise Pedersen on May 24, 1960 in Las Vegas, NV.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the United States Navy for five years as a medic aboard the USS Shenandoah. He retired from many years of service at the post office.
Robert is survived by his children; Kathleen Tomlinson (Jerry), Iris Darlene Turner, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Iris Louise Scott, sisters, brother and parents. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, Utah. A viewing will be held Monday night from 6:00-8:00 at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, Utah and from 11:30-11:50 prior to the service.
