I am sorry for your loss of Leland, a wonderful person. I have fond memories of he and Roy Higginsat the old bandhall behind the elementary school - they really made some beautiful music there - Leland on his sax, Roy on his trumpet. Wow! Leland was always a nice person with a friendldy smile. His brother John Ray and I grew up together in the same class. His Mother was a strong woman that raised great children. God Bless Leland and his family!

Mr Clary was my high school history teaher at Freer High, 1963. He was one of those educators for whom an ex-student held in high regard for life. You knew he was dedicated to the success of his students. My condolences and prayers to and for his family.

Mr. Clary was my high school teacher, my mentor, my friend and as result, I am better educated and a much better person for having had that privilege. His mother, my 4th grade teacher, was cherished by several generations of elementary students in Freer; his sister, Martha was my dear friend & classmate throughout public school & college; I knew his sister, Arleigh, from MYF & church. He was loved and respected by all who were fortunate enough to fall under his influence, especially the Freer High School Class of '61. My most sincere condolences to all his family . . . may he Rest in Peace in the arms of the Lord and his loved ones forever.

Leland was a wonderful teacher, mentor, fisherman and friend, He was also a great bowling coach for me and other kids from Lee High School over several years. I had gone fishing with him, Rosa Lee and David several times as a teenager and they always accepted me as one of their own. I will always love Leland and cherish the many good memories that he helped me to have. Also Leland, thanks for teaching me the right way to tie fishing lures on my line for striped bass. I learned alot about fishing from you!!! You, Rosie and David sure have a special place in my heart forever.
