Ruben Huron Obituary
Ruben S, Huron born on February 25, 1920 in San Antonio, Texas entered into rest on January 17, 2012 at the age of 91 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Gabriel Huron, son, Rubin Gabriel Huron, parents, David and Adriana Huron; sisters, Beatrice Lo Buglio, Virginia Torres, Ada Jefferson, brothers, Benny Huron, David Huron, Roger Huron, Joe Huron, and Richard Huron. He is survived by his sisters, Ora Bieson and Emily Shaw, brother, Ernest Huron and wife Sue, daughter, Anna May Huron and Johnny Gabriel and wife Rosalie, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at San Fernando Cathedral. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South. Serving as pallbearers; Arnold Huron, James Huron, Humberto 'Beto' Vaca, Robert Dickerson, Ralph Enriquez, and John Rihn. Flowers are welcomed or a memorial contribution may be made to the American Association for Cancer Research, 615 Chestnut St. 17th floor, Philadelphia, PA 19106-4404. The family of Joe Huron, one of his brothers express our sympathy again, that we were fortunate to know and love this wonderful man who guided us after our parents died and was always ready to make us laugh with a joke or a saying.
