I went to law school with Shelly, worked with her at the St. Mary's clinic, but more importantly had the privilege of practicing with her in San Antonio. Shelly was always kind, always willing to go out of her way to help anyone who needed it. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched. God's speed to you, sweet Shelly. Thanks for all you did.

How do we begin to comprehend why you were taken from us so soon? Your beautiful smile and kind heart will live on in those of us who admired your strong will and passion for helping anyone you could. Thank you for your friendship, thank you for representing us, thank you for representing our family, but most of all, thank you for all the wonderful memories we will carry in our hearts forever. We love you dearly and will miss you even more.

Those of us who have worked with Shelly in the DeWitt County courthouse are truly schocked and saddened to hear of her passing. Please rest assured, that we always enjoyed seeing her appear in court with her charming smile and professional demeanor. I will certainly miss her appearances in our courthouse and will pray that the Lord bless each and every family member, friend, and acquaintance with the grace necessary to deal with this indisputable tragic loss. May God bless you all.
