James Clarke Obituary

CLARKE, JAMES ROWDY James Rowdy Clarke, 36 years old, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005. Jimmy was a property manager for Crown Pacific Group, his family's company. He was born on July 16, 1969 in Van Nuys, Calif., but lived all of his life in San Diego County. He was a devoted and loving son, brother and uncle. His adored niece, Alli, was a priority in his life and he spent many days taking her to movies or on walks in a shared spirit of family togetherness. Jimmy will be remembered with deep devotion by his life-long friends. He loved the impromptu evening poker game or the camaraderie of attending Charger games together. His closest friend, Eddie Sanchez, said Jimmy's hallmark was, "doing all the wrong things at the right time." His outgoing and friendly personality impressed everyone who knew him and everyone who was fortunate to have known him was enriched by his personal charisma and joyful personality. He is survived by his sisters, Deborah and Shani; his mother, Diane; his niece, Alli, and his father, James. He is also survived by his grandmother, Frances; his great-grandmother, Dora and many great-aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert, in 1995. He was loved unconditionally by family and friends and will live in their hearts forever. Services will include a Viewing from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9th and a Funeral Service at Noon on Saturday, December 10th. Both will be held at El Camino Memorial Park Chapel, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, (858) 453-2121. Please sign the guest book at obituaries.uniontrib.com

Oh, Jimmy and Rob, the years are flying by. It's hard to believe it's been decades since we last laughed together, and made fun of each other, and everyone else. Life hasn't been the same since you both passed, and it never will be. I live life for both of you, even if it's not as crazy and fun. I try to do the right thing in your name, as I know you would have wanted.

You'd be so proud of Alli. She's all grown up now, not your little butt nugget anymore. We all miss you dearly, and not a day goes by that we don't think of you or recall something funny you said. I just know you're watching over us from above. Please keep an eye on Mom, as we worry about her health from time to time.

With all my love, Shani and Alli Clarke

We miss you so much.

My dearest son and light of my life Jimmy. You are so missed. We had another Thanksgiving without you and it's just not the same. Shani is doing a wonderful job at the company and I just wish you could have done this together. Alli is engaged and building a future with a young man. You would surely have lots to say to both of them.
I am hanging in there and have had a couple of health scares but all seems good for the moment.
Until we meet again, I am praying you and Rob are content and happy. I miss you so very much.
Love now and always,
Mom

You my son are always with me. I see your face in a crowd, your smile snd laughter in my dreams, just out of reach. Shani and I share stories of your antics, jokes and good times shared by family and friends. Its been 18 years without you and now I look forward to seeing you and Rob again. You would be so proud of Alli she has become a wonderful, bright woman and she misses you so much. We all will ho on sadly without you but I pray you are lighting up the heavens and preparing a place for me. I love you so much.

Jimmy,
Your birthday is coming up and I miss you more today then ever. We had so many good times together. I still can't believe your gone. I never imagined losing both my brothers at such a young age and all the things I wish I would have told you. I've learned that without you and Rob here the glue for our family is gone and our pain of missing you has distanced us from each other. I think of you and Rob daily and hope you're together and at peace. You where loved more than you will ever know!
Happy Birthday lil Brother..

Dear Jimmy,

I wish I knew sooner and could have paid my respects to your family. I suppose it no longer matters as you are in the eternal place. You were a good man, and always put a smile on my face with your amazing antics. I wish I could have said goodbye or done something to help. May God bless you and your family.

Dearest Brother,

I never thought I’d walk a day on this earth without you the memories are deep. I will always remember running around in the rain and hail with black garbage bags on. Riding our boogie boards down the stairs, breaking into the model homes and playing hide and seek. Tying up the baby sitter, having a party and stealing her car. Ditching school. Catalina, Aspen, Mexico. Dancing with you. These are just some of many memories that I will forever cherish. I miss you big brother. I’d give anything for this to be another one of your really bad jokes. Who’s going to break into my house and have parties now? Give Tiger a big kiss from me. I will see you in the end.

Your loving sister & friend……~Shani~

P.S Thank you to all Jimmy’s friends for the loving support you have given my family it means the world to us.

Jimmy, the funniest guy I've ever met. The times I spent with you,Lisa & Deb were some of the best times in my life. You were always a stinker and a whole lot mischiefess (sp?) The time when you and Lisa almost let me walk down stairs with my dress stuck in the back of my underwear at Kimberlys house warming. The times up in Big Bear skiing with Lisa and when I was sleeping on the floor your let out a poofffer that could wake anyone up!! You were my friend also. That huge smile and awesome personality. You would walk into a room and the whole place would light up. You deffinately had a way with the ladies and I know Lisa will love you forever. By the way, I said a pray to have God tell you I don't have a peanut head!!!! You stinker butt. To Debrah, I love you and pray for you and your family and your little one. May the Lord bless you all and that Jimmy was a gift from God even if for a short time here. We will see him soon. To Jim, Diane, Shani and Ali, I know that Jimmy loved you all so very much...Deb, you know he loved you, you were 2 peas in a pod. I know the Lord is with you all and Jimmy is happy.

All my Love, Heidi

Dearest Jimmy,
I want to thank you for all the good times we shared for the 4 years we were together. We shared so many good memories together and with your family. Remember our diving trips on the boat to Cabo and Catalina? We would all tease each other about everything and laugh until we almost peed our pants? Remember our ski trips to Aspen and Utah? Those were some of my fondest memories of you…. I cherished those times with you, your mom, dad and sisters doing all those trips! Your family was so good to me always! I remember our “own little family” too…our dogs, Zues, Meathhead, and Stinky our cat…we were so happy at one time…I will forever miss those fond memories of you and you will forever hold a sacred spot in my heart, Jimmy! It meant a lot to me that you always wanted my happiness and I thank you for that. I know deep down your spirit was always restless and you longed for true happiness. I know you have found that now in God’s precious glory. For that I am at peace and I know I will see you again someday when God calls me home at that appointed time. Hey…save me a spot up there so we can laugh and tease each other again will you? Until then, a temporary goodbye my dearest Jimmy…and to Diane, Jim Sr., Debra, Shani and Ali….you are all in my thoughts and prayers…I love you guys!
Love, Lisa Wiley (Ferraro)

Jimmy,

It's hard to write this to you now. I wish had written to you sooner. You came into our lives through our daughter Monique while she was still going to UCSD. When we first met you we thought, oh boy, this guy is trouble. But soon, with that wonderful charm and smile of yours, you won us over. Soon you were such a part of our family that we felt you were just another one of our kids hanging around the house. I can still picture you curled up on the family room couch, covered with a blanket watching TV. Jimmy, we shared some wonderful times together. The memories are deep, touching and ever lasting. The surfboard picture you bought us still hangs in a prominent place over the fireplace. Our home will always be remebered as The Hotel Pintarelli becasue of your wonderful Chrsitmas gift. We have misssed you and will always miss you until we meet again in the house of the Lord. God bless you Jimmy. To Diane, Deb, Shani and Alli: you have shared a son, a brother, a uncle with us and we have shared each other's homes... for this, we thank you from our hearts .

Our prayeres are with all of you now and forever...may God bless and keep you all.

Who am I going to pick on now? Mikey and Eddie are getting nervous because they know they are going to have to pick up the slack for you! From day one we had a connection in our sense of humor and I could always count on a good laugh with you. As men we tend not to talk about our feelings and for that I am truly sorry.
