I knew Hap in the 70´s such a great person. I remember a story he told me about when he went down the hill in morro bay in his wheelchair. I also did some landscape work for him in San Luis Obispo, I know he will be missed, I just happened to be looking him up and discovered his passing. RIP Hap

Hap was a wonderful person. I was a carer for him in the 1980's and we became good friends. I really loved his wonderful, positive outlook and his kind personality. I lost track of him when I moved out of state but often thought of him. I didn't know when he had passed away until now. Hap made the world and my life better for being in it. He was a courageous person and I hope his happiness goes on forever.

I too am sorry to learn of Hap's passing. He was a good man. I also knew him in the 70s. We met when he lived in a care facility in San Luis Opbipo. I ussed to pick him up for church and we went on occaisional outings in his big van. I'm sorry to see there aren't other entries here because Hap had many friends. I too lost track of him over the years but would have loved to have been at his funeral service. RIP my friend.

I am sorry to hear of Hap's passing. I have thought of him many times over the years, but I lost track of where he was living. I met him in the '70s. My father used one of his designs to build a hydroponic garden. My father picked him up for church and other activities for several years. I always enjoyed talking with Hap. I admired his upbeat attitude and personality. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends.
