Love Him. He always made me and my kids feel welcome and part of the family right from the start. I remember Christmas 2008 he insisted the kids and I come to family dinner, even though I had only known his son Michael a little over a month and Michael would not be there because he was offshore working that Christmas. I loved to listen to his stories and watch they way he smiled as he remebered them. Two years of his company was not long enough, but i know he will be watching all of us from up above. Gonna save a seat for you a the wedding Dad. love, Jaime Chapman

Now I know this is not really the place for this but not being able to attened a memorial, I want to share a little memory I have of Al. Back in the 70's Al took us to Whale Rock Dam to go fishing, the spot was _suposed_ to open to fishermen but they weren't allowing it. I can still remember Al saying, clear as a bell " run like hell if they spot us", lol. We scored big, with a dozen or more 13"-20" Trout on an utterly beautiful winter day, thanks to Alan B. Chapman.
