Lucy Weis Obituary

COLONIE - Lucy C. Weis, 73, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Guilderland Center Nursing Home.
Lucy was born July 14, 1939, in Mechanicville, the daughter of the late Girolamo and Josephine (Galea) Fragomeni. She graduated from Albany Medical Center School of Nursing.
She was a secretary for Albany Fire Extinguisher for several years before retiring.
She loved reading and gardening and enjoyed word search puzzles.
Lucy is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Costanzo of Mechanicville and Kenneth Weis (J. Louise Broyles) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; her cherished grandchildren, Cory, Geno, Douglas and Tiffany Bessette and Balthazar and Kaleb Weis; her cherished great-grandson, Jayekob Bessette; and her loving sisters, Rose DeVito (Anthony) and Mary Enzien, both of Mechanicville.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willard ""Bill"" J. Weis Jr., and her son-in-law, John Costanzo.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 452 Clinton Ave., Albany, NY 12206, in memory of Lucy.
