To the kearse family, i never really understood what it meant to have a shattered heart until the christmas day that i heard the news that my grandma had passed. The pain that i felt was something inevitable. I thought my heart heart was going to crumble into a million pieces. As many time before n always after...I love yhall always!!!

My prayer is for God to caress your hearts and hold each and everyone of you near.
Ms. Edna Mae's zest for life, giving heart, incredible sense of humor, sharp tongue (especially when you decided to act out..LOL!)but most important of all.... her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grand children. Though she is no longer here physically; she is ever so near. When your hearts begins to feel heavy; reach out to one of your siblings, children, neices or nephews Caress thier face and look into their eyes...for you will see her. My 'Girl' (as I affectionately called her) has a long reach and some strong genes :)!
Continue to honor her by loving one another with all you have no matter what and inspite of! ...as she often said,"I'm always watching...you neva know when I'm gonna show up'.
God has it in his hands...be strong!

My heart aches for the lost of our Ms Edna Mae, but it also rejoices jus n knowing that she suffers no more. to be absent from the body is to present with lord. So until it's our time to meet the ceator, we shall all sing and rejoice in the victory of the race that she ran and n knowing that she has eternal life and is now resting n the bossom of the Lord. Detra just called and told me about your mother. I'm so sorry Vickie. I really do not have much to say because I can only imagine the pain. I love you and think and ask about you all the time. To the Kearse family. Mrs. Edna Mae was a big part in my up bringing.Just last week she crossed my mind as one of the neighbors who really raised me while my mom was hard at work. I remember how well she would keep me in-line without having to raise her vioce but demand that you come to her and listen to her words;if you inside the house or outside playing.She was one of the single parents in my neighborhood that all of us young boys and teens in line;even as an young adult that respect never drifted nor did she allow any different 'just because we thought we were grown folks..I want to thank her for it and her sons and daughters for sharing their mothers' love for those that she reached out to.Respect is a lesson well learned from her.My wife also was one those she baby sat & remember it all just same..
