My first job after graduating from Alfred University was with Western Electric in Allentown PA. I was hired by Claude Butler in 1967. Claude was my first supervisor and I worked for him for over five years. Claude was a great role model whom I really admired. Thinking about him and the times we spent together brings back many cherished memories. He was a wonderful man who will always be remembered.

Dear Ethel - So sorry to learn of Claude's passing. You and he were wonderful neighbors on Circleville Rd. I was so lucky to know Claude if just for a couple of years. His warmth and kindness will always be remembered and appreciated.

I am a former employee of Western Electric in Allentown. During my employment I had many supervisors and Claude was among the best. He was always polite and respectful of others. He was also a smart dresser. His love for flying was apparent all the time I knew him. In fact, he took me for my first airplane ride during one of our lunch breaks. He had a plane at Queen City airport and we flew over Allentown. Sorry to have lost contact with him when he retired and left Allentown.

My deepest sympathy to the family.
