W. Eriksen Obituary

W. Keith ERIKSEN W. Keith Eriksen, of Kent, Washington, died Monday, November 15, 2004, of complications from synovial sarcoma. He was born in Brush, Colorado, in 1931, and lived in California and Oregon before his family settled in Washington. He graduated from Sumner High School in 1949, where he was active in sports as well as drama and choir. He attended the University of Washington, receiving a BA in business, and participating in Air Force ROTC, which led to an assignment in Newfoundland, Canada during the Korean conflict. He married Doris Sunnen of Puyallup in 1952. He worked for the Boeing Company for almost 4 decades, mainly as an industrial engineer. In his retirement he enjoyed researching the family genealogy. He is survived by three children, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. He was a great provider and we will miss him greatly. Services will be held at the Powers Funeral Home, 320 W. Pioneer, Puyallup, 253-845-0536 (Viewing 5 - 8 p.m. Monday, Nov 22; Service 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 23). Burial following service at Sumner Cemetery. Please direct donations to the American Cancer Society.
