She passed away peacefully at home on the morning of February 16th, 2011 in Normandy Park, Washington. She was surrounded by friends and family during her short battle with pancreatic cancer. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend who always had time to give and care for others. She was kind and strong, bighearted and compassionate. She had a fabulous smile that lit up the room, and was adored by all. She loved animals, plants, traveling, and walking on the beach. After growing up in Passaic, New Jersey, Jean obtained a pharmacy degree from Rutgers College of Pharmacy, and continued on to the University of Utah for graduate work in pharmacology. They married more than 30 years ago. As a homemaker, gardener, and most recently a weekly volunteer in the classrooms of two different teachers, her family was definitely her pride and joy. Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dorothy, she is survived by her husband Joe,son Chris Barham, daughter Kimi Barham, grandson Brandon Barham, and brother John Brudzinski.
