I have been clearing my Aunt, Josephine Harwood's 99 years of memorabilia. I've found a picture done by Joffrie Pierce. I'm wondering if anyone from his family would want it. If you reach out to me....cell: 425.241.3484. I can send you a picture of his work. Please contact me asap, since I'm discarding many of her memorabilia. My regrets for your loss.

I knew Joff when he was at Roosevelt High playing trumpet in the marching band; then as an employee of TnT Auto Parts on Roosevelt Way NE; and as a 'junkyard employee' in Seattle's South End, before his waterproofing phase. He was such a funny guy! Yes, the humor was often crude; but his spirit was so upbeat, and that wonderfully low, droll voice made him a delight to be around. Here's to his family! I know they'll all miss him terribly!

Joff was one of those gaggle of kids running around Silcox Island, so I watched him grow up, struggle with the guitar (looking lovingly at my collection of guitars next door), mature and build his life. I was friends with his family through my dad and the Silcox island summer connections. He will be missed and another piece of Island history has been lost. but not forgotten. I knew Joff when we were teenagers. He was a dear friend who was always ready to help anyone who needed it. I can remember his laugh and how he enjoyed playing his guitar. My thoughts go out to his family & friends.

Joffrie was a treasured friend and fellow musician whom I've known for over 25 years. He is very missed and will continue to be forever. I'll see you beyond this life, brother.

I went to Eckstein Junior High School with Joff Pierce. I knew him well. I am so sad to learn that he has passed away.
